2006年4月 17日，全球的快递和物流公司DHL在其中国合资公司中外运敦豪迎来成立20周年之际，隆重发布了 “DHL中国优先”战略。通过加大投资 、进一步提升DHL在中国的作业能力 ，“DHL中国优先”战略充分显示出DHL促进中国快递物流市场快速成长 、大力支持中国经济发展的长期承诺。

　　为此，DHL母公司德国邮政全球网络崇文礼博 士 (Dr Kl aus Zumwinke1)专程来华以示庆贺，宣布上述重要战略，并与中外运集团董事长苗耕书先生一起为双方合资公司成20周年纪念标识揭幕。中外运集团总裁赵沪湘先生、DHL快递亚太区执行官贝思哲先生(Mr Scott Price)、DHL快递大中华区域总裁许克威先生(Mr Jerry Hsu)以及中外运敦豪董事总经理吴东明先生等高级管理层，共同出席了揭幕仪式。
